Shooting GT Motion with host ChiLan Lieu in downtown LA today. I used Nars lipstick in Dolce Vita and my new favorite lashes (#217) from Nigels in North Hollywood.

It was great to work on this year’s Emmy opening! What a fun couple of days with a really wonderful crew, especially fellow makeup artist Joanna Simkin. We worked hard and laughed hard - perfect combination.
Feeling nostalgic, I took a walk down memory lane tonight. This Bone Thugs n Harmony video was my first paid gig as a makeup artist (1999?). I had never worked on set before, and I was scared sh*tless! I learned a lot (and fast) in those two days… Fake it ‘til you make it!

Here’s the Charlotte Gainsbourg music video that I barely made it through… It was a rainy night shoot in downtown LA and I was running a 102 fever. A quite memorable job, to say the least.
