Filming the intro to the new Zumba Fitness video game with instructor Gina. She loves a glam look, so I used false lashes on both top and bottom and kept her skin fresh looking with Makeup Forever HD foundation and Ben Nye’s Creme Rouge Color Wheel. Look for the game in November available for the Wii!
Master Debaters & The Download
Two of the shows I work on are on tonight. Check out Master Debaters with Jay Mohr on Fuel TV and the Download with Jordan Rubin (special guest Demetri Martin) on comedycentral.com
I work with Justine (better known as iJustine on the interwebs), and she likes to vlog. I am proud to make a cameo in this snippet.
Shooting GT Motion with host ChiLan Lieu in downtown LA today. I used Nars lipstick in Dolce Vita and my new favorite lashes (#217) from Nigels in North Hollywood.
Who says I don’t still have some teen spirit?! Here’s the video I worked on featuring the young and dreamy Jackson Guthy directed by Frank Borin.
It was great to work on this year’s Emmy opening! What a fun couple of days with a really wonderful crew, especially fellow makeup artist Joanna Simkin. We worked hard and laughed hard - perfect combination.
Feeling nostalgic, I took a walk down memory lane tonight. This Bone Thugs n Harmony video was my first paid gig as a makeup artist (1999?). I had never worked on set before, and I was scared sh*tless! I learned a lot (and fast) in those two days… Fake it ‘til you make it!
